Opening Hours and Rates

Opening hours

Winter season from 1 October to 31 March
Monday: closed
Tuesday to Friday: 12:00 – 16:00
Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 12:00 – 17:00

For public holidays that do not fall on a weekend, Saturday/Sunday opening hours apply.

During the winter season, weather conditions may cause the garden to remain closed. Calling in advance will prevent you from finding yourself in front of a closed door.

Due to carnival celebrations and the resulting limited accessibility of the garden and staff availability, the Botanical Garden will be closed from 14 to 20 February. From 21 February onwards, we look forward to welcoming visitors back to the recognised museum Botanical Garden Kerkrade.

Summer season from 1 April

Monday: closed

Tuesday to Friday: 10:00 – 17:00
Saturday, Sunday and public holidays: 12:00 – 17:00

For public holidays that do not fall on weekends, Saturday/Sunday opening hours apply.

The Botanical Garden is largely run by volunteers. Continuity in opening hours therefore depends on available staff. The Botanical Garden tries to guarantee as much as possible that the gates remain open, we ask for your understanding if this is not the case.
